- Trade License (E-Commerce Category): Issued under the Local Government (City Corporation) Act 2009. Digital businesses must specify 'E-commerce' or 'IT Enabled Services' as their business nature.
- Digital Business Identification (DBID): As per the Ministry of Commerce guidelines, all digital commerce entities must register for a DBID to operate legally in the Bangladeshi market.
