1. Nature of the Digital Platform

LegalBD operates as a specialized legal advisory and educational portal. The statutory guides, roadmaps, and self-service contract generation tools provided on this site are designed to enhance public legal knowledge and facilitate preliminary legal documentation under the laws of Bangladesh.

2. Formal Advocate-Client Relationship

Submitting an inquiry through our intake forms or utilizing our automated contract generator does not, by itself, create a binding Advocate-Client relationship. A formal legal representation agreement is established only upon:

• Direct conflict-of-interest clearance by LegalBD Senior Counsel.
• Execution of a written Engagement Letter or Vakalatnama / Power of Attorney.
• Settlement of the agreed professional retainer fee.

3. Permitted Use of Digital Legal Tools

You are granted a non-exclusive, revocable license to view, download, and utilize the statutory forms and generated draft contracts for lawful personal or internal business purposes. You agree not to:

• Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit LegalBD proprietary legal drafts without express license.
• Use automated scripts or scrapers to overwhelm or extract content from our edge network.

4. Professional Fee Governance & Disbursements

All professional fees are quoted exclusive of statutory government challans, court fees, registration stamp duties, and official VAT/Taxes unless expressly stated in a fixed-fee quotation. Official receipts are issued for all disbursements.

5. Governing Law & Dispute Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service and any non-contractual obligations arising out of them are governed exclusively by the laws of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. Any dispute arising under these terms shall be subject to amicable negotiation, failing which it shall be referred to arbitration in Dhaka under the Arbitration Act, 2001.
